Materials You Will Need For This Toddler Craft:
- Non-toxic, child safe paint
- A paper plate to put paint on
- Plastic cookie cutters (any designs you prefer)
- A roll of wrapping paper or brown paper (found in the shipping supplies section of many stores).
How to Make Your Own Wrapping Paper:
First, roll out your paper. If you are using brown shipping paper, it doesn’t really matter which side you paint on, but if you are using regular wrapping paper, roll it out so the blank side is facing up.
Next, put some paint on a paper plate.
After that, help your toddler dip a cookie cutter into the paint. Then help your toddler put the cookie cutter on the paper to make a design.
Continue to allow your toddler to dip cookie cutters and put designs on the wrapping paper.
Allow your toddler’s craft to dry (the time it takes to dry depends on the type of paint and how thickly your toddler put the paint on).
Once your crafty paper is dry, it’s now ready to be used for wrapping presents!
